Welcome to the Swift Gaming Community Forums! These forums are here to give our users a friendly and comforting environment to offer and discuss ideas, show off content, converse with fellow users and safely report other users or appeal your punishment. The guidelines and rules below will explain what behavior is expected from our users. Keep in mind that not all forms of negative behavior may be listed here. As such, forum moderators are given complete discretion in regards to handling any behavior they feel is inappropriate on a case by case basis.

Your access to these forums and our servers are a privilege, not a right. We reserve all rights to suspend you - either temporarily or indefinitely - from both our servers and the community forums, for reasons that include, but are not limited to, your failure to abide by these guidelines.

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites which contain such language or images which:
• Are not in English
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums
• Be given a final warning, after which any further Code of Conduct violations may result in the permanent removal from the forums

Spam
This category includes:
• Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
• Content in which the sole purpose of the content is to increase your post count
• Topics or replies where a meaningful message is not present
• Creating new threads about existing topics already open for discussion
• Creating a separate thread about an existing open topic for further discussion in more than one sub-forum
• Creating another report, appeal or suggestion regarding the same topic after the original was declined
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums
• Be given a final warning, after which any further Code of Conduct violations may result in the permanent removal from the forums

Disrespect
This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites which contain such language or images which:
• Are either directly or indirectly offensive or demeaning in any way
• Insult other users or groups of people
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums
• Be given a final warning, after which any further Code of Conduct violations may result in the permanent removal from the forums

Harassment and Defamatory
This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
• Insultingly refer to other users or groups of people
• Encourage or result in ongoing harassment of other users or groups of people
• Purposefully slander or libel, or damage the good reputation of another user
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums
• Be given a final warning, after which any further Code of Conduct violations may result in the permanent removal from the forums

Advertising
• This category includes the advertisement of:
• Any non-beneficial and/or non-SwiftGaming related servers or communities
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums
• Be permanently removed from the forums

Illegal Drugs or Activities
This category includes both clear or masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images which:
• Reference abusing illegal drugs
• Reference performing illegal activities
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums

Trolling or Flaming
This category includes:
• Content in which the sole purpose is to cause unrest on the forums
• Causing disturbances in the forums, such as picking fights, making off-topic posts that derail a thread
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums

Inappropriate Content
This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
• Promote racial, ethnic, national or religious hatred
• Are recognized as a racial, ethnic, national or religious slur
• Allude to a symbol of racial, ethnic, nation or religious hatred
• Negatively portray a group of people
• Refer to extreme and/or violent sexual acts
• Refer to extremely violent real life actions
• Are an inappropriate reference to human anatomy or bodily functions
• Are pornographic in nature
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums

Signatures
This category includes signatures that contain both clear and masked language or images which:
• Contain both clear and masked language, imagines, and/or links to websites which contain such language or images that are inappropriate
• Contain more than two images
• Break any of the other rules in the forum code of conduct
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Have their signature forcibly changed
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums

Real-Life Threats
This category includes both clear or masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:
• Refer to violence in any capacity that is not directly related to the game world
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they will:
• Be permanently removed from the forums

Impersonation
This category includes:
• Passing yourself off as another user
• Pretending to be a member of staff
• Posting on multiple accounts
• Setting your display name to mimic or copy another user's display name
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Have their display name forcibly changed
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums

Promoting Rule Breaking
This category includes:
• Creating threads or posts that encourage others to break rules
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be issued a warning
• Be temporarily suspended from the forums
• Be given a final warning, after which any further Code of Conduct violations may result in the permanent removal from the forums

Circumventing a Suspension / Ban
This category includes:
• Posting on another account to circumvent your suspension / ban
• Having someone post on your behalf
If a user is found to have participated in such actions, they may:
• Be permanently removed from the forums

Important!
• Repeatedly violating any area of the forum Code of Conduct, including, but not limited to, any of the areas detailed above, may result in the permanent removal from the forums.
• This policy is not language-restrictive. Behavior that is inappropriate will be treated as such, whether it is in English or any other language.
• Forum moderators are given full discretion to move, hide, or lock any and all threads should the thread's topic of discussion violate any of the areas of the Code of Conduct, as well as the        discretion to punish users should any posts are in violation of the Code of Conduct.

Ultimately, what we are trying to do is provide a safe environment for all users. While certain language and images may not be offensive to you, consider that some language and images may have a completely different effect on others. We've set up the guidelines - now it's up to you to follow them.
